PEANUT
ISLAND FUN Activities To Enjoy While At Peanut Island
Welcome to Palm Beach Boating Guide's
Peanut
Island pages. Thank you for visiting.
This is one of several web pages that explore the fun things to
do at Peanut Island. If you would like to start at the
beginning, click here.
The Peanut Island party atmosphere isn't limited to
socializing. The island is a great place to break out all your
toys!
You may wish to add the following to your Peanut Island packing
list:
FOOD, SNACKS & DRINKS: You can't pack too much.
Time passes quickly and you may stay longer than you think.
Everyone gets hungry and thirsty when they play in the sand and
sun. Don't forget a bottle opener. If you run out of food
there is a ships store at Sailfish
Marina, just across the channel from Peanut Island's east
side. The store has sandwiches, snacks and drinks.
PORTABLE GRILL: What's better grilling on your day
off?
COOLER: Include a lot of ice. Keep it in the shade.
FOLDING CHAIRS: Bring enough for everyone.
SNORKELING GEAR: Check out the exotic fish under the dock
and near the rocks on the south side.
STUFF TO CATCH: Footballs, tennis balls, Nerf balls and
Frisbees are fun in waist deep water.
FLOATING FUN: Innertube, boogie boards, inflatable kayaks
or noodles.
FISHING GEAR: Some folks enjoy trying to catch what swims in the
area.
SUNSCREEN: It's beyond easy to get a sunburn while playing at
Peanut Island.
POLARIZED UV
PROTECTION SUNGLASSES: Sunlight hits you directly from above and
indirectly as reflections from below. Polarized UV sunglasses
keep
your eyes safe and allow you to see beneath the "Caribbean blue" water.
FLIP-FLOPS OR SWIM SHOES: Protect your feet from blazing
sand and underwater debris.
SUN SHADE/UMBRELLA: The rays can be intense if you plan to
stay all day.
TUNES: Fun CDs for your battery powered boom box or boat
stereo.

This page contains several high resolution, large size

you the best possible feel for Peanut Island. As such this
these
pictures may take extra time to download, especially with a dial-up
internet connection.

setting it up on the hot sand... the blue water is more fun!
